Lets start with the meaning. Syndication means, a group of people, pooling their resources together, to achieve a common goal. Whether it’d be a product, a business, or service.
Now; Why is this word important? You see, multifamily real estate is very expensive. To scale at the rate that we want to scale at, and to reach our highest capacity, we need to partner up with individuals, families, companies, that have our missing piece. What is that missing piece? In our case, my team and I have taken on the roles to be the active partners. That includes, sourcing the deal, sourcing the debt, signing on the debt, sourcing the equity, taking care of the day-to-day operations, and stabilizing the investment.
Who we are looking for? We are looking for people who’s, “resource”, is supplying the capital for these investments. They are essentially known as “LP’s; “Limited Partners”. I like to call them, our “Equity Partners”. Why? They are just as important, as we are. They are taking their hard-earned money, and trusting us, that we will be able to return their capital, and MORE!
